Forward Financing is a fintech company delivering fast capital to small businesses. We seek an Assistant General Counsel with deep structured finance and capital markets experience to lead complex debt facilities, securitizations, and related corporate governance.

You will mentor a small legal team, work with executives, and ensure regulatory alignment across states. The role is remote-first in the United States with potential in-office collaboration; compensation includes base salary, a target

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
• 10+ years of relevant legal practice in finance, fintech, or lending.
• Structured finance, debt facilities, ABS, and forward flows experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership to mentor junior attorneys and manage external counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured finance and capital markets transactions end to end.
• Negotiate and execute debt facilities, warehouse lines, and securitizations.
• Liaise with lenders, funds, banks, and rating agencies on legal matters.
• Oversee corporate governance, contract management, and compliance.
• Scale legal processes and supervise 1–2 attorneys, expanding as needed.
