Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Counsel to provide broad legal support for the region, preparing and reviewing contracts, and developing evidence and arguments to protect the company’s interests. The role emphasizes risk minimization and strategic alignment with JE Dunn’s values.

The Senior Counsel will lead research, oversee outside counsel, and negotiate commercial transactions related to projects and corporate functions. 8+ years of legal experience and a JD are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required with legal license.

Responsibilities

• Supports region with complex legal guidance and contract review.
• Prepares draft prime contracts and subcontracts with project team.
• Provides counsel on transactions, programs, policies and procedures.
• Researches and prepares legal opinions, memoranda, and other documents.
• Interprets laws and regulations to minimize legal risk.
• Assists with management of claims and litigation.
