Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Counsel to provide complex legal support for the region, reviewing prime contracts and subcontracts, and guiding on risk and policy. You will prepare opinions, manage claims, and support litigation with project teams.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Law required with bar admission.
• At least 8 years of legal experience, preferably in construction matters.
• Experience with litigation, contracts and compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad legal support to the assigned region.
• Draft prime contracts and subcontracts with project team input.
• Review procurement documents and perform legal reviews of proposals.
• Counsel on transactions, programs, policies and procedures.
• Research and draft opinions, memoranda and other documents.
• Interprets laws and regulations to minimize risk and guide policy.
• Manage claims and assist with litigation and evidence gathering.
• Lead and promote diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
