Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Regional General Counsel to lead the region’s legal affairs, oversee compliance, and provide strategic counsel to regional leadership. You will manage contracts and procurement reviews, draft prime contracts, advise on transactions, and guide governance to minimize legal risk.

This senior role requires a Juris Doctor with 10+ years in construction law, plus strong leadership, negotiation and litigation experience.

Qualifications

• JD required with bar in good standing.
• 10+ years in construction law practice.
• 7+ years people management preferred.
• Experience with large construction litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on routine matters for the region.
• Review procurement documents and assist with proposal reviews.
• Prepare draft prime contracts and subcontracts with project team.
• Advise on transactions, programs, policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage claims and litigation efforts.
• Oversee outside counsel and governance; promote diversity and inclusion.
