Job summary

Qualifications

• Membership in the State Bar of California.

• Experience handling complex, sensitive legal matters in workers’ compensation or administrative law.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation and counsel to the Division on complex and sensitive matters.
• Draft regulations and provide litigation support for QME, ADR carve-out program, and related actions.
• Perform legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other written work product.
• Advise Division staff on workers’ compensation issues and legislative analyses.
• Appear in state and federal courts and administrative bodies as needed.
