Job summary

ICW Group is seeking an attorney to handle all aspects of workers’ compensation cases with varying complexity and to provide litigation and advisory services across the company. The role emphasizes proactive case management, independent handling of a moderate caseload, and effective collaboration with claims personnel.

Ideal candidates will have a JD, CA Bar membership, and 5–8 years of workers’ compensation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school is required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of workers’ compensation litigation experience or equivalent.
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Responsibilities

• Provides litigation services for all aspects of assigned workers’ compensation matters.
• Manages investigations, discovery, trial prep, court proceedings, and settlements with minimal supervision.
• Litigates in California courts and before administrative boards.
• Assists with subpoenas, external investigations, and information gathering.
• Develops defense strategies and delivers timely, cost-effective resolutions.
