Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks a Senior Counsel, Commercial to partner with business leaders, structure and negotiate complex agreements, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. The role demands strong judgment in a fast-paced corporate environment.

The position requires onsite presence at least four days per week, and experience in environmental regulations or ESG programs is a plus. Juris Doctor and Georgia bar admission are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of legal experience in general commercial transactions.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Georgia.
• J.D. from accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial sales agreements, NDAs, and strategic partnerships.
• Serve as a strategic advisor providing risk-based legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and manage disputes including commercial claims and litigation.
• Support ESG initiatives and environmental compliance in business operations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, and sales.
