Foster Garvey PC is seeking a counsel or partner-level attorney in Portland, OR with at least eight years of sophisticated commercial contracting and transactional experience to join our Consumer Brands Industry Group.

The role centers on structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex business‑to‑business agreements for consumer brands, manufacturers, and product‑based businesses, while advising on day‑to‑day commercial matters beyond corporate or M&A work.

Qualificações

• At least eight years of sophisticated commercial contracting and transactional experience.
• Experience independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience with supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, licensing or other operational commercial agreements.
• Excellent business judgment to understand a client’s objectives, identify material risks and develop practical solutions.
• Exceptional critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills; anticipate downstream consequences.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills; manage multiple work streams and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as day‑to‑day commercial and strategic advisor to operating businesses.
• Structure, draft and negotiate complex B2B agreements for consumer brands and product-based businesses.
• Identify risks and provide practical, creative contractual solutions.
• Advise on how proposed relationships should work and align with client objectives.
