Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior legal professional to join the Incubation, Data & AI (IDA) Legal team to support Outshift and Cisco’s Enterprise AI platforms.

You’ll counsel fast-moving teams on tech transactions, IP licensing, data governance and AI ethics, delivering clear, business-friendly guidance. The role follows a hybrid model with two days in office each week and offers Cisco’s comprehensive benefits and compensation programs.

Qualifications

• JD with 8+ years in a law firm or in-house team.
• Experience in product counseling, technology transactions, and IP licensing.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory landscapes into business guidance.
• Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal partner to incubation teams building innovative projects at Cisco.
• Provide agile legal guidance on third-party collaborations, risk, IP, data governance, and AI ethics.
• Ensure compliance by design across functions and with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other Legal SMEs to deliver actionable guidance for executives and engineers.
