Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a cost control professional to join the Corporate Project Controls Team, focusing on cost analysis across Bechtel Group companies with non-routine requirements and high technical complexity.

This role is designated as part-time telework with at least three days in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project, requiring coordination with leadership and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant cost management experience in engineering/construction.
• Proven ability in cost estimation, cost control and cost analysis.
• Experience with project controls software such as EcoSys and Hyperion.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cost estimation and control activities.
• Coordinate non-routine cost engineering and scheduling needs.
• Develop cost monitoring standards and reports.
• Prepare budgets for EPC functions.
• Develop project-specific account codes and cost units.
• Provide cost support and training to project teams.
