Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a senior cost engineer to manage trend estimation, analysis, and control for major infrastructure EPC projects. You will prepare cost studies, review trends, and develop project cost requirements for forward-looking analysis and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field and 8–14 years (or 12–14 years) of relevant experience, with demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, control, and analysis and excellent communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
8–14 years of relevant experience (or 12–14 years as an alternative).
Experience in cost estimation, cost control, and cost analysis on large EPC projects.
Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, and construction to identify and analyze cost trends.
Prepare cost estimates using historical data, statistics, and quantity comparisons.
Perform non-routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
Coordinate implementation of cost monitoring standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
Coordinate development and accuracy of cost reports.
Ensure consistency with previous reports for compatibility.
Prepare budgets per prescribed standards and procedures.
Investigate requirements for estimating and cost control data.
Collect and classify cost data for forward-looking trend analysis.
