Job summary

NiSource is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to supervise cost analysts in performing project cost analysis, testing and compliance with SOX controls, and to lead monthly cross-department reallocation exercises with status reporting to executives.

You will manage capital variance reporting, CIAC processing, and tracking of reimbursable projects, while developing life-cycle cost estimates, budgets, and schedule-cost-risk analyses to improve forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with 7-9 years of Excel/data manipulation experience.
• 8+ years experience in financial/cost management and project estimates.
• Experience building budgets, reading schedules, and risk/quality management.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cost analysts and ensure SOX controls compliance.
• Lead monthly cost reallocations and provide executive reports.
• Oversee CIAC processing and tracking of reimbursable projects.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and integrated project baselines.
