Job summary

NiSource Inc. seeks a Team Lead Project Cost Analyst to supervise Cost Analysts, oversee SOX controls testing, and lead monthly multi-department reallocation exercises with status reporting to Executives.

You will provide capital variance reporting and manage CIAC processing for reimbursable projects, ensuring alignment with NiSource guidelines and industry best practices. Qualified candidates will have strong Excel and cost-management experience, along with risk assessment, project controls,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7-9 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, data manipulation and report generation.
• 4-6 years of financial/cost management experience.
• Experience developing/reviewing project estimates, and building project budgets.
• Integrated knowledge of project scope-schedule-cost and risk-quality management.
• Familiarity with project management guidelines, standards, processes, and tools.
• DL Number – Driver License, valid and in state upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cost Analysts and oversee cost forecasting and testing of SOX controls.
• Lead monthly multi-department reallocation exercises and provide status reporting to executives.
• Provide capital variance reporting and explanations to company executives monthly.
• Supervise processing of CIACs and tracking of reimbursable projects.
• Maintain and apply integrated cost management tools and techniques to improve cost performance.
• Assist project teams in cost budgeting and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate cost information.
