Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to support project financial performance, cost analysis, and forecasting across multiple operating divisions. The role partners with operations and project management to improve financial visibility, reporting accuracy, and cost control.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of cost accounting experience, strong accounting fundamentals, and the confidence to interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial accounting, project accounting, or related discipline.
• Experience analyzing project costs, budgets, revenue forecasts, or financial performance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost analysis.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project costs, budgets, and financial performance with division and project management teams.
• Identify financial risks, investigate variances, and present findings to finance leadership.
• Prepare and maintain revenue forecasts, backlog reporting, and other financial analyses.
