Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost and financial reporting for labor-based absorption, pricing, billing, and margin analysis. The role also covers general ledger activities and month-end close across multiple entities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3–5 years of experience, and proficiency with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with ERP and data entry systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
• Accounting and GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; 3–5 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain absorption rates for labor burden and materials to ensure full cost recovery.
• Lead project accounting, cost tracking, unbilled revenue accruals, and profitability reporting.
• Analyze pay rate vs bill rate spreads and gross margins by customer/project; report KPIs.
• Reconcile timekeeping, payroll, and billing data to correctly charge labor to projects.
• Collaborate with operations to review cost centers, expense coding, and allocations.
