Cumming Group in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to oversee cost management across a diverse portfolio including tech, life sciences, and semiconductor projects.

You will develop subcontractor and vendor relationships, lead client accounts, review contracts, and participate in change orders while mentoring junior team members. This role offers growth opportunities within a fast-growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation.
• Preferred professional accreditation – MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and estimate the scope of work from project documents.
• Lead client accounts and manage sub-contractor, vendor, and client relationships.
• Review contracts and participate in contract negotiation; manage change orders.
• Prepare sub-contractor analysis and develop project plans.
• Mentor associate level cost and commercial managers; provide reports to management.
