Job summary

Cumming Group in the South Bay seeks a Senior Cost Manager to oversee cost management across a diverse portfolio including tech, workplace TI’s, life-sciences, and semiconductors. The role requires estimating, sub-contractor pricing, and contract oversight to support growth in the Bay Area.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in cost management or quantity surveying with professional accreditation. A strong pricing background and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years in Cost Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation.
• Preferred Certification: MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.
• Develop and nurture sub-contractor, vendor, and client relationships.
• Lead client accounts and manage contract administration at the project level.
• Review and comment on contracts and participate in contract negotiation.
• Prepare project plans and provide needed reports to senior management.
