Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a major capital construction program in Ohio. The role is site-based with regular on-site presence at the project site in Miami County, roughly 80 minutes from Columbus.

You will provide strategic commercial leadership, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure delivery of cost management services throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or working toward.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large, high-complexity projects.
• Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, life sciences, technology, industrial, or commercial projects preferred.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management team and interface with client and consultants.
• Oversee cost controls, change management, and lifecycle cost activities.
• Maintain clear communication with client and other stakeholders at all stages.
• Report on overall commercial status of the project.
• Drive best-practice cost management processes and templates.
• Mentor and develop staff; set team strategy and ambition.
• Develop relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Support proposals and RFP responses for new work.
