Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to support workplace, commercial, and capital improvement projects across North America. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, change management, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience in tenant improvement, renovation, decommissioning, laboratory, or infrastructure projects is preferred. The base salary range is $140K-$160K USD, with bonuses and benefits possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Cost Management, or related field.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and financial controls across multiple projects.
• Experience leading cost management services on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• RICS accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders through the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Review with design services and GC in cost estimate development.
• Reconcile changes and ensure accuracy of data.
• Prepare cost estimate updates for stakeholders.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information for discussions.
• Inform and drive project priorities based on cost impact.
• Manage cost checks and valuations on large projects.
• Support post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
