Job summary

Turner and Townsend in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management for industrial and manufacturing construction projects. You will be the day-to-day client contact, working independently and with the team to provide leadership and direction on the account.

The role involves estimating and negotiating change orders across a large multi-package programme, producing and presenting final cost plans, reconciling design and scope changes, and validating contractor data.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering.
• 5–7 years in cost management, quantity surveying, or project controls within construction.
• Experience on large and complex industrial or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day client contact on industrial and manufacturing construction work.
• Estimate and negotiate change orders across a complex multi-package programme.
• Produce and present final cost plans for large facilities.
• Reconcile design and scope changes; check accuracy of contractor data.
• Coordinate cost data from contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
• Provide monthly forecasting and reporting commentary on contractor submissions.
