Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to support a major advanced manufacturing construction program in Glendale, Kentucky. The role involves cost leadership across all phases, including estimating, cost planning, forecasting, change management, and commercial controls, with client-facing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in cost management within construction and may hold or be pursuing RICS accreditation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
Minimum 5-7 years in a cost management role in construction.
RICS accreditation preferred or working toward it.
Experience leading cost management on large industrial/manufacturing projects.
Construction consultancy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
Provide estimate and cost planning, including final cost plan.
Review with design services and GC in cost estimates.
Reconcile changes and assist GC to ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate cost information from multiple sources for cost discussions.
Prepare cost updates and executive summaries for submissions.
Drive cost impact discussions with stakeholders and ensure timely cost reporting.
Perform cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances.
