Job summary

GagaMuller is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead the commercial and cost management on major hyperscale data centre projects in North America. You will oversee cost planning, forecasting, reporting, and governance across the full project lifecycle.

Working with project directors, design and construction teams, and external partners, you will drive value engineering, risk management, and cost control while mentoring junior cost professionals and promoting best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cost management on large data centre projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across hyperscale data centre projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain budgets, cost plans, estimates, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Lead procurement, bid management, and commercial analysis including vendor negotiations.
• Review quantities, cost models, and pricing prepared by contractors and consultants.
• Lead change management, assess cost impacts, and maintain budget control.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value engineering.
• Provide commercial guidance to clients and align with project teams to ensure objectives.
• Mentor junior Cost Managers and promote commercial best practices across the team.
• Prepare and present monthly cost reports, forecasts, and dashboards for stakeholders.
