Job summary

GagaMuller is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead the commercial and cost management function on major hyperscale data center projects in the United States. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure robust cost planning, forecasting, governance, and reporting throughout the full lifecycle.

The role requires leadership across multiple projects, mentorship of junior cost managers, and close collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve ambitious cost and value

Qualifications

• Senior Cost Manager with experience leading commercial cost management on large data center projects.
• Strong skills in cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance.
• Proven ability to mentor junior cost managers and manage client relationships.
• Experience with BIM and digital construction tools for cost visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across hyperscale data center projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain budgets, plans, estimates, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Oversee procurement support, bid analysis, and vendor negotiations.
• Review cost models, quantity take-offs, and change orders for accuracy.
• Provide monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and executive dashboards.
• Mentor junior cost managers and promote commercial best practices.
