Qualifications

• Senior cost manager with consultancy background preferred.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change forms with project stakeholders.
• Chartered or on track to chartership.
• Degree in project management or construction discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage the change management process—identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes affecting project cost.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in preparation and agreement of final accounts, including claims handling for best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports, communicating variations clearly.
• Support project management with cost documentation and timely communication.
• Support settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Foster mentorship and leadership to drive team performance and growth.
