Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to act as the primary client interface, delivering value-added cost management for a portfolio of complex life sciences, laboratory, research, and commercial construction projects within a large campus environment in Southern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, be client-facing, and capable of independent work while aligning with Turner & Townsend values and approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or working towards it.
• Experience leading cost management on medium- to large-scale projects with high complexity.
• Experience supporting life sciences, laboratory, research, healthcare, or complex construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
• Review and participate with the design services team and general contractor in the development of cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and assist the general contractor to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimate updates by coordinating with owner, project manager, and contractor representatives.
• Coordinate cost discussions and value engineering with stakeholders.
• Develop cost plans and valuations throughout the project lifecycle.
