Turner & Townsend in Tysons, VA, seeks an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the key day-to-day client interface for a major data center portfolio in Northern Virginia.

The role is client-facing and supports projects across Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Fairfax counties. You will lead cost management activities, mentor junior staff, and ensure accurate cost reporting and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–7 years of experience in cost management on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or data center projects preferred.
• Certifications in MRICS, PMP, CCP or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and present final cost estimates.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and general contractors.
• Reconcile changes and validate contractor data for accuracy.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to update estimates.
• Produce monthly cost reports and support final account closeout.
