Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Tysons, VA, is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across a major data center portfolio in Northern Virginia. You will interface with clients, coordinate across design teams and contractors, and guide cost planning and reporting.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and the ability to drive commercial outcomes on multi-phase data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6–7 years of cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management experience on large-scale construction.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or data center projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Produce and present final cost plans and cost reports.
• Review estimates with design teams and general contractors; reconcile data.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders on cost updates.
• Lead cost checks, valuations, and reporting for multi-phase projects.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a high-performance environment.
