Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to drive a massive, multi-phase data center construction program in the Greater San Antonio area with remote flexibility for local professionals. Occasional site travel is expected to align with milestones and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plans.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and contractors for large-scale projects.
• Reconcile changes and ensure data accuracy with contractors.
• Prepare cost updates and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Coordinate all sources of cost information for discussions and negotiations.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and update at milestones.
• Lead negotiations on pricing to secure fair contracts for the client.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management across the lifecycle.
• Produce monthly cost reports and ensure timely final accounts.
