Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager to lead cost management for major California capital projects. This role manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and ensures successful delivery of cost management across all project phases.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, client-facing skills, and the ability to mentor high-performing teams while aligning with Turner & Townsend's standards and vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• SME in Quantity Surveying with RICS certification or equivalent accreditation.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management team and interface with client, stakeholders and other consultants.
• Perform cost planning, bid review, procurement strategy, and cost analysis reporting.
• Monitor project costs, manage financial risks, and maintain budget adherence throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Support development of AI-enabled cost modeling tools and data-driven recommendations.
