Job summary

Delve Underground seeks a Lead Cost Estimator to drive cost estimating for complex civil, structural, and tunnel projects across North America. You will lead a team of estimators, develop conceptual and production-based estimates, take-offs, and maintain estimating databases, while interfacing with project teams and risk assessments.

The role offers work-from-home flexibility within a North American office network, with strong emphasis on accuracy, collaboration, and the ability to observe field

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' direct field experience on tunnel projects (20+ years preferred).
• Exposure to cost estimating, pricing, and construction claims or change orders.
• Accredited undergraduate degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional registration or certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimating efforts on complex civil, structural and tunnel projects.
• Lead a group of project cost estimators.
• Perform and oversee cost estimating tasks, including conceptual estimates, production-based estimates, take-offs, and database maintenance.
• Occasional field visits to observe construction means/methods and gather data.
• Provide QA review on work by others.
