Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Estimator/Cost Manager for on-site roles across multiple US locations, including St. Petersburg, FL.

You will lead cost estimates, budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients and internal teams to drive informed investment decisions and robust financial controls. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in cost estimation within real estate or commercial construction, and strong proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint and related tools.

Qualifications

7+ years as an Estimator, Cost Manager or similar role.
Ability to work and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams and interact with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of real estate asset management or commercial construction.
Demonstrated ability to analyze construction documents and extract relevant cost information.

Responsibilities

Support Capital Planning, funding approval, and investment decision-making processes with expert cost estimates and advice.
Lead the estimating function by preparing estimates and managing team workload within SLAs.
Represent estimating to the Client and internal teams during ROM and detailed estimates and budgets.
Review, develop, and track detailed cost estimates and budgets for project funding packages.
Lead development and enforcement of program-wide estimating standards and templates.
