Job summary

JLL seeks an experienced Estimator/Cost Manager to lead project estimates and budgets for commercial real estate initiatives. You will work with client teams, design partners, and contractors to deliver robust cost plans and value engineering opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in estimating, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, plus advanced Excel and project tools. On-site roles across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an Estimator or Cost Manager or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and mathematical abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to create structure from ambiguity and drive consensus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating function by preparing estimates and budgets for project funding packages.
• Serve as the primary estimating expert for the client account and oversee deliverables.
• Coordinate workload and ensure timely delivery within SLAs.
• Develop, implement, and enforce program-wide estimating standards and templates.
• Research and manage strategic initiatives to refine the estimating function and cost models.
• Provide objective recommendations and superior client service.
