Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join our multidisciplinary municipal, industrial, and project delivery teams. If you have a passion for numbers, precision, and impactful projects, this role is for you.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Cost Estimation Excellence: Supervise and coordinate detailed cost estimates for major projects, guiding outcomes and ensuring client satisfaction.
2. Analytical Insight: Prepare estimates by analyzing costs, materials, labor, and bid documentation with attention to detail.
3. Database Management: Design and maintain cost estimating databases to streamline processes.
4. Value Management: Collaborate on drawings and specifications to drive cost-effective decisions.
5. Validation and Guidance: Evaluate third-party estimates, monitor market conditions, and provide guidance on complex projects.
6. Technical Skills: Perform quantity take-offs, contribute to project scheduling, and develop construction schedules.
7. Documentation: Write concise Basis of Estimate and Schedule reports.
8. Client Collaboration: Participate in client review meetings to align estimates with project goals.
9. Risk Assessment: Establish estimating criteria and prepare cost and schedule risk analyses.
10. Collaboration with Design Team: Analyze critical activities and resolve issues with design teams.
11. Team Building: Support development and staffing of the estimating and scheduling team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in cost estimating or construction management, with experience in developing estimates per AACEI guidelines.
• Proficiency in MCACES, MII, @risk, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.

This position is hybrid, requiring visits to offices and field sites as needed.
