Job summary

Odyssey is seeking a Senior Cost Estimating Analyst to support the Attack Systems Division, FMS, at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on lifecycle cost estimates for Air Force ISR and related platforms, applying advanced estimation methods and DoD standards.

The candidate will leverage ACEIT, TruePlanning, and Crystal Ball to produce defensible cost estimates, support POEs, IGCEs, and milestone reviews, and ensure data integrity across financial databases.

Qualifications

• Expertise in applying regression analyses, confidence intervals, learning curves, and parametric models for defensible cost estimates.
• Ability to construct and apply WBS/CES frameworks for POEs and IGCEs and support milestone reviews.
• Hands-on with ACEIT, TruePlanning, COCOMO, Crystal Ball and related databases.
• Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD FMR 7000.14-R, and MIL-STD-881D for compliant cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for all phases of sensors acquisition programs using multiple estimating methods.
• Define WBS and CES structures and perform life cycle cost analyses and CAIV studies.
• Support program offices in planning, budgeting, should/cwill cost analyses, and risk assessments.
• Prepare documentation such as program baselines, MSRs, and management plans.
