Job summary

SIXGEN, Inc. seeks a Senior Cost Estimator/Analyst in Annapolis Junction, MD to lead life cycle cost estimates and independent analyses for DoD/IC programs. You will develop LCCE, ICE, CCA, and POE, and present findings to program offices and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in DoD/IC cost estimating, with CERs, cost risk analysis, and quantitative methods. TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Engineering, OR, Cost Estimating or related field with 18 sem hrs in quantitative analysis.
• Minimum of 10 years DoD/IC acquisition cost estimating and analysis experience.
• At least 7 years supporting DoD IC acquisition programs (C4I/major AIS).
• Experience developing LCCE, ICE, CCA, and POE.
• Experience CARD/ICBD development and documentation.
• Experience developing CERs, cost factors, and cost risk analysis.
• Strong quantitative, financial modeling, and statistical analysis skills.
• ICEAA certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data using quantitative, statistical, economic, and engineering methods for decision making.
• Collect, organize, normalize, analyze, and document cost and program data for acquisition programs.
• Develop life cycle cost estimates (LCCE), independent cost estimates (ICE), component cost analyses (CCA), and POE.
• Perform OC&A: alternatives, business case analyses, risk assessments, schedule realism, and CER development.
• Support project teams with cost estimating expertise and modeling guidance.
• Prepare, present, and defend cost estimates and briefings to Program Offices and stakeholders.
