Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks a Cost Estimating Manager to lead the estimating team onsite in El Segundo, California. You will develop cost estimates and price articles for DoD and other federal programs, ensuring accuracy, budgets, and compliance with established procedures.

You will analyze RFPs, SOWs, and TRDs, generate cost volumes and BOMs, and present pricing strategies to leadership. The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading major cost estimating efforts for a government customer.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and TINA.
• Experience with ProPricer or other pricing software.
• Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance for which US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the cost estimating team in preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for government projects (DoD, NASA, and other federal agencies).
• Analyze RFPs, SOWs, TRDs, and other proposals to develop cost estimates aligned with customer requirements.
• Generate submission-ready cost proposal articles, including cost volumes, rate justifications, BOMs, basis of estimates, and supplier packages.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, finance, and contracts to ensure alignment between solutions and estimates.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, TINA, and other government regulations.
