Decima International is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer for an on-site role in Corsicana, TX. You will oversee cost planning, tracking, and reporting for mission-critical construction and retrofit projects, developing detailed estimates and maintaining budgets.

You will collaborate with project managers, schedulers, procurement, and design teams to align cost with scope and schedule, driving financial risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Strong cost engineering and management experience on complex construction projects.
• Advanced budgeting, baseline development, change management and forecasting.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and advise stakeholders.
• Proficiency with cost management software and project controls tools such as ERP.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or related field.
• Experience in mission-critical facilities is highly beneficial.
• Clear communication of cost information to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Track expenditures against budgets and perform variance analyses.
• Implement cost control procedures and validate proposals.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMs, schedulers, procurement and design teams to align cost, scope and schedule.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cost engineering processes and tools.
