Job summary

Employbridge seeks a Senior Cost Engineer to evaluate manufacturing opportunities and develop accurate, competitive cost estimates. You’ll work with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to craft pricing strategies that meet customer needs and profitability.

The role leads RFQ estimating and quoting for complex opportunities, reviews blueprints and CAD models, and builds detailed cost models for labor, materials, tooling, and overhead to support informed pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, costing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
• Experience managing complex RFQs.
• Strong blueprint reading and CAD knowledge.
• Experience with cost modeling, pricing, and margin analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating and quoting for complex RFQs and new opportunities.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Cost Engineer to play a key role in evaluating new manufacturing opportunities and developing accurate, competitive cost estimates. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong machining knowledge with expertise in estimating, quoting, and cost analysis.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to evaluate complex RFQs, understand manufacturing requirements, and develop pricing strategies that support both customer needs and profitability.

Compensation

$90,000 to $110,000 + bonus
