Job description

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to support a high-volume, precision metal manufacturing environment within the medical device industry. This role combines hands‑on process engineering with strategic involvement in costing and quoting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Engineering (70%)

• Drive process improvements in high-volume production environments
• Lead new product introductions (NPI)
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and optimized manufacturing processes
• Analyze and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving methods
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve quality, efficiency, and cost

Costing and Quoting (30%)

• Identify manufacturing methods and key cost drivers
• Develop cost estimates for new business opportunities
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support new program launches

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience in high-volume production environments
• Strong understanding of cycle times, scrap rates, and cost drivers
• Experience supporting process improvement and NPI initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with progressive stamping
• Background in CNC machining or metal manufacturing processes
• Exposure to costing and quoting processes
