Job summary

Greenberry Industrial is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller for a large-scale, high-tech construction project in Boise, Idaho. This on-site, project-based role runs approximately November 2026 through November 2027 and requires strong cost controls, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.

The successful candidate will work with project leadership, construction, accounting, and procurement to ensure visibility into financial performance and manage risks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cost controls, project controls, project accounting, project financial management, or related function within construction/EPC/major capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing cost controls for complex construction projects or major scopes.
• Strong knowledge of: project budgeting; cost forecasting; Cost-to-Complete and Estimate-at-Completion; earned value principles; productivity analysis; labor forecasting; commitment tracking; change management; variance analysis; project financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze large cost data and develop management-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage project cost control systems aligned with contract scope, budgets, and execution plans.
• Develop budgets, cost codes, commitments, forecasts, and reporting structures.
• Monitor costs across direct labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, purchased services, indirect costs, and project overhead.
• Prepare and update Cost-to-Complete (CTC), Estimate-at-Completion (EAC), forecast-at-completion, labor forecasts, cash flow, and variance reporting.
• Identify cost overruns, productivity issues, and financial risks; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Coordinate with project leadership and field teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and controls.
