Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent technical degree required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, general ledger systems, forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Close the financial books monthly and support all monthly reporting requirements.
• Support the assistant plant controller with accounting activities including fixed assets, inventory valuation, product costing, budgeting and forecasting.
• Analyze capital investments with ROI, IRR, and payback to inform decisions.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities with plant personnel and maintain cost accounting systems.
• Manage inventory control, capital investment oversight and manufacturing variance analysis.
