Job summary

PACCAR Kenworth is seeking a Sr. Cost Accounting Supervisor to lead standard cost analyses, month-end close, and financial reporting. You will supervise 1-2 team members and partner with manufacturing and finance to drive profitability.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and the ability to implement cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining internal controls.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Accounting Degree with Accounting emphasis preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA or other advanced certifications preferred.
• Experience with SAP or large ERP systems.
• BI tools such as Tableau/PowerBI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute key month end processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports related to margins and cost of sales.
• Maintain and update standard costs.
• Forecast cost of sales and compare to actuals.
• Analyze cost-related reserves and other balances for accuracy.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audits.
• Support data analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Contribute to division cost accounting team growth and broader operations.
