Miltenyi Biotec North America is seeking a Sr. Manager, Cost Accounting to lead a growing cost accounting team and partner with plant, R&D, supply chain, and finance leadership.

The role influences manufacturing strategy, drives profitability, and ensures financial transparency across operations. The position oversees inventory, COGS, and gross margin analyses, supports operational excellence, and participates in FP&A and executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Experience with ERP platforms (SAP preferred) in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.

Responsabilités

• Manage, mentor, and develop Cost Accounting team while contributing hands-on when needed.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices across cost accounting.
• Provide strategic guidance on manufacturing costs, inventory levels, capacity utilization, and efficiency.
• Support leadership decisions with robust financial analysis and reporting.
• Oversee analysis of manufacturing variances with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Lead bi-annual standard cost update and maintain standard costs for products.
• Lead manufacturing-related and R&D-related month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with FP&A to insight costs, inventory, and spending trends.
• Apply GAAP and IFRS principles in all analyses.
• Lead special projects and ad hoc duties as assigned.
