Job summary

Just Ingredients is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own the true cost picture from raw ingredients through a shipped order. You will drive BOM accuracy, cost reporting, and pricing validation with a focus on margins as the company scales.

You will partner with Production, Procurement, and Finance to ensure cost strategies align with business goals, while maintaining GAAP compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent.
• 5-7 years cost accounting experience in CPG/manufacturing/e‑commerce.
• Experience evaluating cost-plus pricing with co‑manufacturers.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, cost accounting principles & GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product costing, BOM maintenance, and cost data accuracy.
• Analyze costs (materials, labor, freight) and prepare leadership reports.
• Review cost-plus pricing with co-manufacturers for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear recommendations.
