Job summary

Premier PV is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost accounting for high-volume manufacturing. You will manage standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations while partnering with Operations and IT to ensure BOM and routing accuracy.

You will support month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting, mentor peers, and provide actionable financial analysis to influence cost controls and operational decisions across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Experience with BOM and routing accuracy.
• Experience with month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
• SOX compliance knowledge.
• Strong analytical mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain standard costs and BOM/routing accuracy.
• Analyze cost variances (materials, labor, overhead) and investigate root causes.
• Reconcile inventory and validate valuation.
• Lead monthly close for Revenue and COGS.
• Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting.
• Provide ad hoc costing analysis.
