Job summary

Just Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own the true cost picture from raw ingredients through a shipped order, including variances and cost-plus pricing with co-manufacturers. This role reports to Finance and collaborates across Production, Procurement, and Finance.

You will manage BOMs, analyze costs, support budgeting and forecasting, and maintain NetSuite cost systems, delivering actionable insights to leadership as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years cost accounting in CPG, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
• Experience with cost-plus pricing in a co-manufacturing setting.
• BOM management across raw materials, assembly, and toll blending.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and NetSuite proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex data to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own product costing end-to-end including raw materials and toll blending costs.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) across products.
• Analyze costs across ingredients, production, labor, and fulfillment.
• Prepare cost reports for leadership with actionable insights.
• Review cost-plus pricing from co-manufacturers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory valuation and COGS reporting including freight costs.
• Maintain NetSuite cost accounting systems and drive process improvements.
