Job summary

LeoForce, based in Orlando, FL, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to manage inventory costing, standard costing, and cost roll-ups in our ERP environment. You will develop labor and overhead rates and oversee COGS for both manufacturing and service operations.

We value accuracy, GAAP compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive cost visibility and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX 404 compliance.
• Experience with inventory costing, standard costing, and operations accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accounting activities including standard costing and cost roll-ups within the ERP system.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing labor and overhead rates.
• Oversee COGS accounting for manufacturing and service operations.
• Analyze variances such as WIP, work orders, and purchase price variances.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for inventory, COGS, and reserves.
