Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years cost accounting in manufacturing (VMS, pharma, nutraceuticals, or food & beverage) preferred.
• Strong costing, BOMs, inventory control, and ERP knowledge (NetSuite/SAP/Oracle).
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills; excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs, Bills of Materials (BOM), and routing data.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead) and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform monthly/quarterly inventory valuation and reconcile inventory accounts.
• Review and finalize closing of work orders and jobs weekly.
• Support monthly close with journal entries and COGS analysis.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to forecast manufacturing costs.
• Generate and distribute weekly production and inventory reports.
• Identify and implement cost control opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits.
