Job summary

Doncasters is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst in Long Beach, CA, to own and analyze manufacturing cost performance and develop meaningful insights. The role partners with the Finance Director and Operations leadership to drive profitability through robust cost accounting and financial analysis.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in manufacturing finance, strong standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong manufacturing cost-accounting knowledge, including standard costing, inventory accounting and material/labor/overhead variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capabilities.
• Experience working with ERP systems and large financial/operational data sets.

• Perform advanced cost accounting and financial analysis across the business.
• Forecasting, operational performance analysis and decision support.
