Job summary

Doncasters in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The role combines cost accounting expertise with financial analysis to support forecasting, performance analysis and decision making.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5-7 years in manufacturing finance, and strong Excel, cost accounting, and ERP experience to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably manufacturing.
Strong manufacturing cost-accounting knowledge (standard costing, inventory accounting, variances).
Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capabilities.
Experience with ERP systems and large financial/operational data sets.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting and decision support across the business.
Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights and strengthen financial controls.
Partner with Finance Director, Accounting Manager, GM and Operations leadership to optimize profitability.
